As soon as you get the gas they blew into you out... let the burps come. Honestly you'll feel better soon!

I didn't have much burping (I'm 3.5 weeks post-op), but the hiccups....wow, they sucked!! I still hiccup but at least they don't hurt. And I have the gurgle in my throat...that's kind of weird when other people can hear it...lol!

Um...hate to be the bearer of some bad news, but for some of us, the burping never ends....I am 6 months out - burp each and every time I eat...several times...

January 8th, 2013 - VSG with Dr Paul Sullivan (St Joe's Toronto)
