I'm starting to feel pretty good about myself. I am wearing cuter clothes; including tank tops, skirts and dresses. My husband just told me that it's nice to see me wearing some girly clothes. May sound like a weird compliment, but it was in fact one and it felt good. I of course then went on to list all the things I am still uncomfortable with like my dimply thighs and my bat flap arm wings that are in fact losing fat, but the skin is staying the same. He of course rolled his eyes and told me I am beautiful just the way I am. I love him. He is so awesome. Anywho. Just a feeling good and thankful for this girft kinda night. Peace and love people!

Love it! You and I are similar start weights, and surgery dates, and you and I also look similar now in new clothes (I am thrilled to be a size 14 - 12/14 in some dresses). Amazing changes! Let's motivate each other to kick ass these last 50 lbs!

He was very scared at first. He was not happy when I told him I wanted it, but he was supportive. Once I made it out of surgery alive and he saw as time went on that I wasn't having complications he relaxed. He is amazing.

I do the same thing...it's hard to hear compliments when we spent so long beating ourselves up with negativity.
