That's kind of exciting too!  Congrats on the house and I hope the move is as stress free as possible!

I don't get my TOM anymore (had an ablasian years ago), but I DEFINITELY still get hormonal each month and gain a few #'s in water weight.  Just come to expect this periodically and know it will come right back off since you are still doing everything absolutely right!

Jenn   Highest weight: 278. Starting weight: 275. Surgery weight: 253. Month 1: 25 lbs. Month 2: 8.8 lbs. Month 3: 12.6 lbs. Month 4: 7 lbs. Onederland 7/29/2013. Month 5: 7 lbs. Month 6: 5 lbs. Months 7-9: self-induced maintenance, then 5 lb gain.

TWINS!  That is exactly why TOM doesn't come around either!  I guess I need to start looking at the dates that this is happening.  Maybe that's what's going on.

Thanks!

Bump ups happen occasionally. Sometimes it's hormonal. Sometimes it's your body responding to the heat of summer. Sometimes it's your body resisting changes.  I can go up two pound one day and then down four the next.  If you weigh daily, you can see those fluctuations, but if you weigh weekly, you may get caught on the up day and think you have gained.

Maintain the course and, just like a stall, the scale will start moving down!

It's so hard to stay off the scale!  When it moves down  I'm elated, when it stays the same, I understand, but when it goes up.  Holy Moses it ruins my whole day!

I know just how you feel I will be a year post op at the end of this month and have been going up and down the same 5 pounds for 3 months. I have days where I just feel like throwing up my hands and saying I'm done but I keep going anyways. It is probably jus****er weight you have gained so don't stress too much.

Wow, what a great loss!  I'm only two months out, so I have to be sure I don't get frustrated because like they say this is a marathon, not  a sprint!  I'm trying to let it go and just wait to see what tomorrow brings.....sigh
