Full Course Dinner

I was joking with my boyfriend the other day about how I'm going to be a cheap date after my surgery.  Instead of going out to dinner, eating my entree and then finishing his leftovers.... he can just order an entree and his leftovers will be 2-3 meals for me.  I told him if he didn't want to spend any money at all.... A walk through Costco, stopping for samples will be a full course meal.  Carabba's Chicken Trio will be groceries for a week.  It will be such a blessing to be able to be satisfied with just a few bites.  If I ever choose to eat Ben & Jerry's ice cream again, a pint will be 8 servings, not one.

YAY, great idea clothes shopping instead of food shopping, except I have kids so they n my husband still need to eat. Darn. Oh n protein is expensive but lasts a long time.

I have a friend who loves splitting meals with me because she knows that I will probably eat 25%  or less.  Then she still gets to say that she had portion control by eating less herself. And co-workers love traveling with me when we are on per diem. In return, I don't pay for the cab.
