The NSV I've been waiting for!

It's just over 4 months since my surgery.  I'm just over 6 lbs away from 100 lbs. lost all together (including pre-op) and today I had the NSV I've been waiting for.

I took up bicycle riding 20 years ago.  When I started I weighed 340 lbs and I couldn't go more than 1/4 mile the first day.  After many months of hard work I was able to ride 20 miles a day and lost 120 lbs.  Now, the 20 miles was a good thing but the most important part was I couldn't wait to get on the bike every day and try to improve what I had done the day before.  I became addicted to bicycle riding.  I rode for five years until a serious accident.  The accident forced me to give up riding for quite some time and as a result I gained back every pound I lost and worst yet, I traded my addiction for riding back to food.

Now to my NSV.  When I started my weight loss journey this time around, I weighed 340 lbs.  My sleeve has enabled me to once again start riding the bicycle.  I am happy to say I am up to nearly 10 miles a day and looking to improve every day.  I was sitting at my desk today working and I realized I couldn't wait to get home and get on my bike.

I am once again addicted and it feels great!

Awesome! Love riding my bike now...really just getting started.  But I can see the addictive qualities to it!
