Trouble with vitamins
VSG by Nick Nicholson in 2013. Revised to DS 2/23/2023 by Chad Carlton.
I crush my vitamins and mix them into a little sugar-free Greek yogurt. After surgery, my tummy wouldn't tolerate anything sweet like the vitamins and mixing with yogurt cut the sweetness, and I actually enjoy having the little vitamin-flavored yogurt twice a day.
Goo luck,
Carol

Your stomach may have been too full. I have always had problems with multi vitamins making me sick to my stomach so I have to take with food. The best results for me are to take my multivitamin and then eat. This way I get it down and the food sits on top of it so it doesn't come back up.
I hope you find the right combination that works for you.
I have a hard time too. I never was a big sweet eater and this is killing me -- between the chocolate shakes, jello, ice pops and then the vitamins. I now take the Celebrate bariatric vitamins in capsule form. It is sometimes really hard getting them all in and they still make me a little nauseated but I can't even put the chewable ones near my mouth without gagging.
