So i was wondering if anyone could provide some ideas or thoughts on things you found you needed after surgery that you didn't think of... and also what worked best for you (and what didn't) in all the different stages... liquids, puree, soft etc... I have a great list from my doctor but I thought I would put it out there to those that know best....

And I just realized my surgery is ONE MONTH from today!!!!!! Whoo hoo!!!

I had a measuring cup that clearly had the ounces marked on it - so I could tell my son to bring me 3 oz of something, and he could figure it out himself.  

What didn't work - those sugar-free popsicles I got tasted so icky!  At least it was only a couple dollars wasted.

Double walled cups...I was leaving puddles everywhere since I love ice cold drinks...my mother picked them up for me at Walmart, $1.98...I didn't even ask for them, but they were THE BEST!!
