Went to see my primary because the incision started leaking. Long story short incision was infected. I will go back tomorrow to have the packing changed. Started antibiotics, will be fine. A little sore, but no big deal.

That is no fun. I just finished a round of antibotics for the same thing. Only mine was from an appendectomy. The meds will have you feeling better in no time. The open wound will take some time to heal i think but i have no pain now when i change the bandage. It just looks weird having a hole there.

An infected incision is very painful (my drain site infected and ouchy!)  Now that they have you on antibiotics it should start clearing up quickly - hope you feel better soon!

My drain had a slight infection.  It ended up healing in a circle and I have a funny scare.  Hope you feel better soon.
