Pre-op date set!!

I just left the informative VSG seminar.. and they scheduled my pre-op date. Its set for Sept 27, but then they are saying the surgery could have to wait to be scheduled until the end of October! Does that seem normal to wait a month after pre-op to have the surgery?  Im very excited, bute as everyone must have been at one point I am nervous!

Doesn't make sense to me.  Usually the seminar is the very first thing you do and then go through the clearances.  Your doc or bariatric center may be calling it something else.  I'd check with your bariatric coordinator.

The seminar I seemed to get last.. all the information at I need submitted for insurance is already done, its been a long 7 months!!!

It would depend on what you mean by your pre-op date!  Do you mean your pre-op diet, pre-op admissions testing or many other pre-op item?

I had pre-op nutrition, pre-op diet, pre-op admissions testing.  These when all done with-in three weeks of my surgery.

I am not sure about your timeline but it does seem you are getting closer to your surgery.  It is completely normal to be nervous.  Here is some information that you may find helpful as you progress towards surgery:
