Today was my 6 month follow up visit. So hard to believe its been 6 months.

I have lost 55% of my excess weight as of today. The average at 6 months is 40%.

My beginning weight was 262.

On surgery day I was 249.

Today I (according to their scale) I am 196.

My scale showed 194 today. I think I will go with my scale.

He says he is amazed and happy I am doing so well. And is happy that I have little or no problems eating and drinking.

The last WONDERFUL, AMAZING part is that he documented the redness and itchiness under my breasts and tummy flap. Says if he documents it I should be able to request some skin removal through my insurance. Then its medically neccesary and not elective. Its most likely covered then!!

Its been a wonderful journey and I know its a life long trip.

But I am game.

I have no idea why there is a frowny face. I highlighted the happy one, lol.

So wonderful you are doing so well. Keep doing what you are doing and you will be to goal before you know it. Don't worry about the smiley face. I don't even know where to find it.
