Sugery scheduled

I was originally turned down for surgery because my employer has an exclusion policy. I turned to OH and found that my best option was going out of the country. I thoroughly did my research and chose Dr. Sergio Quinones as my surgeon. He is in Tiajuana Mexico. My surgery date is Dec 9, 2013. I am so excited to actually be having this done. 

My insurance actually covered WLS, but there were so many hoops to jump through, and the resulting coverage was so bad I decided it wasn't going to cost me much more to just go to Mexico and have it done.  I don't regret it at all.  The hospital there was SO much better than any hospital I've ever been to in the states and everything went perfect.  Best of luck with your surgery!

I am hearing the same thing. I cant believe the cost in the USA is 4x higher than in Mexico. I have not heard many patients who had bad experiences. mexico. Im happy to hear your success story. How did you do on the plane ride home?

I am making my apt in Mexico today. I am going to Juarez next to El Paso Texas I had to pay out of pocket also but if you go on beliteweight.com you will find  success  stores it has help me good luck.

I cant believe this is really happening. Soon I will be on the looser bench. My surgery is only $4150 compared to 20K in the USA. I appreciate everyone who has helped me along the way.

So glad you found a way to do it!! I'm scheduled for the 10th, looks like we get to be surgery buddies! :-D

I want this so bad. It means living a healthy life. I will be 40 in Feb and wanted to go into 2014 with a new me. I had started the pre op diet a few weeks ago. But I am off it now and will restart on Monday. We can do this :)
