I'm only three days post op, but whenever I drink protein shakes or eat my chewable vitamins I am getting reflux....will this go away?
My understanding is yes but did they give you an antacid to take every day or did they prescribe you one?
yes- i'm taking 40mg of prilosec each morning.
My surgeon prescribed me the 40Mg TWICE a day. You might consider upping the dose to twice a day instead of once. Although, it's always best to ask your doctor first.
