Is this normal...weight loss stall
My surgery was Nov.13th and I have lost about 18 pounds since surgery and up until this week have lost every week...this week not so much. This week nothing! I am following everything, water, vitamins, protein, 2 tablespoons of food per meal,. My caloric intake is almost nothing; I guess I am just stunned at taking so little in and not losing anything this week. Has this happened to others? Just frustrated and of course I think the worst like AHH is this it? I am iced in so walking outside is not an option, so I did things like clean the garage for four hours and run in place. I am stumped.
Any guidance is appreciated!
COMPLETELY normal. Up your water and protein. This early out, it's difficult to get enough. Stalls happen to EVERYONE. Water and protein are the key.

i also learned that the less you eat, the slower the weight loss -- atleast this was the story for me.
i didn't lose anything fresh out of surgery -- for the first 2.5 weeks. then finally i started to eat more and teh weight started to come off. i went to my 1 month follow up and the nurse concurred with my observation.
yes, i believe the more non-caloric liquids the better as well.
i have only lost about 15lbs in 5 weeks. not very impressive, really -- but i am pleased with it nonetheless.
all the best to you -- and steady on! :)
3 pounds a week is nothing to sneeze at...that's quite good!

Yes it's normal. Many see a standard stall in the 3-5 week range.
