NSV
Thought I'd thrown this one out there to amuse the crowd....
First, I finally broke down and took my wedding ring in to be resized. The change dropped my ring size by 2.25 sizes; it went from a 10.5 down to a 8.25. Also, this is a 20 year old ring, so there's an interesting perspective on the timeframe around my weight and changes.
Okay, part two, the reason I finally did it...
A few months back I switched my ring over to my right hand after it slipped off my left hand (all on it's own) while tossing laundry in the dryer. That was a funny little NSV back then. Well Friday I was shaking my right hand while driving home and it slipped right off. Of course it fell under my powered bucket seat and into all the mechanics and railing there. It took me the entire weekend to find it. So, I figured that was a clear message that it was time to do something.
The good news is that since I'm going down in size, it's a thicker width man's band, and the price of gold has gone up over 20 years, the cost is next to nothing. LOL
I should have it back in a week all polished and pretty .

Glad you found it! For those of you who are having similar problems, because I have and am not ready to have it resized yet. You can go to Walmart or a jewelry store where they sell all kinds of earrings, etc and they have clear plastic guards you can put around your band. It took me a couple days to get use to and now I don't notice it. They come in a package of different sizes and were less than $4 at Walmart. I slipped that puppy on and my ring no longer slips off. I found them around the extra packages of backs for earrings.
