What a difference a year makes (pics)
I'd be willing to bet that most of us have at least one photo of ourselves that caused us great distress the first time we saw it. The last one of those for me was taken at my company's holiday party last year. I mean, I knew I was fat...but I didn't know I was THAT fat. I was shocked into tears when I saw it. I almost deleted the pic, but for some reason I did not. I've kept it for a whole year in hopes that I'd look better at this year's holiday party. So that is why I put on a dress (and shapewear and a pushup bra) and a little makeup and managed to attend this year's holiday party last night despite the fact that I had foot/leg surgery on Friday. I think this is the first time I've been able to look at two photos of myself and actually see a big difference. Definitely worth it. I love my sleeve!
So here is last year's photo...probably around 280 lbs
And these were taken last night...around 191 lbs
You look wonderful! I'll get brave enough to post pictures one of these days. I'm 15 pounds from Onederland, so maybe then!
