I just received two boxes of the most beautiful assorted chocolate dipped strawberries from my favorite client.

In other news...1st day on soft foods.  Yogurt is going down nice and easy.  And it tastes pretty good which is positive since I didn't (don't) like yogurt before wls.

Day 6 post op and feeling pretty good.   Ironically, shortly after I ate, my son got sick and isn't feeling well.

So just gotta get thru Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day, which will be a little easier since the newly added soft foods are so new and exciting.

Hope everyone is doing ok.  Best wishes for a happy holiday and despite the challenges, what a GREAT way to head into the new year.

I feel your pain re the strawberries.  I won't touch 'em even now, but I love 'em.

Glad things are going well.  Hope your son is well soon and that your Christmas holiday is peaceful and healthy for all.  :)

It seems like EVERYBODY I know is getting sick for Christmas!! Everybody's OK here at our house, but with as often as I get the sniffles, I'm not feeling optimistic...

You can do it through Christmas dinners! Hang onto the yogurt, and you'll do great!!

Hi surgery twin!  Today was my first day on purees too and I had no trouble with three bites of a pulverized meatball with spaghetti sauce and some applesauce spiked with unflavored protein powder. :)  Yay us!  Happy holidays and yes, best new year coming up!!!
