Surgery tomorrow
Surgeons office called on Thursday and told my my surgery was moved from Monday the 30th to tomorrow. I'm nervous and anxious like most people get. Scared because of the date change my husband isn't going to be able to get off work. Surgery is at 8:45 and he has to leave hospital by noon to make it to work. They have to repair a hernia as well as the revision surgery. I'm just scared he won't be there to hear what the surgeon says. My sis in law is coming at 11:30 so hopefully she will catch what surgeon says. The bonus, I'm really starving on this liquid diet!
Tell your surgeon that your people might not be there. Maybe he can come check on you in the evening to talk to your folks? Or at least leave written notes about how things went? It never hurts to ask! Best of luck tomorrow! We'll keep your seat warm on the Losers' Bench!!!

Hello! I had surgery this past Monday, the 23rd and did the vertical sleeve. I had minimal pain after surgery and was up walking just a few hours post op. I hope that you have a wonderful experience. My throat was very sore the day of surgery, because of the tube in surgery and then not being able to eat or drink all day/night until after the swallow test. By the way, the swallow test was not bad at all. I sucked on ice chips first after I had passed the swallow test and that made my throat feel so much better. I wish you the best tomorrow!
