Probiotics

I've been battling constipation since my surgery, and I have read on here that many of you use probiotics as part of your "bathroom solution regimes." I got some Culturelle at Walmart, but when I got home I realized it's single strain and have read that it's better to use multi-strain (none of them said multi that I saw).

So my question to all of you who use probiotics is what kind do you use and where do you get it?

The following link better describes the multi strain probiotics than myself. Bariatric Advantage is promoted by my Bariatric clinicians, who are credentialed as a Center of Excellence. I do trust them with their advice. Good luck!

Thanks! At my next appointment I'll ask about them in the office and see what they have available through BA.

I subscribe to Consumer Labs who tests supplements... they did a test on many varieties of Probiotics, and from that plus some references in the Paleo/Primal community I went with Garden of Life Primal Defense... lots different strains, lots of live cultures... tested well.

Available through amazon.

Thanks so much for the recommendation! I've started reading about that one and I can see why you like it. It looks like lots of other people like it too! I may end up trying it out.
