Still carry fat in stomach

I think I'm pretty deep into the process and still have that same spot of belly fat.  When I sit down, I can kind of bunch it all together and it's about the size of a raw pizza dough loaf before it's spread out to make the pizza crust.  However, when lying down, or standing up, it so spread out that it isn't really noticeable to others.

I added photos to my profile of before/after lower body lift (combo tummy tuck and butt lift).  All that stuff hanging over my pants was skin.  I thought it was fat!

I carried most weight in the abdomen, and it was also the last to go for me.   Even with a BMI of 23 I still had a lot going on in the stomach due to the loose skin and such.  The abdominoplasty from a few weeks ago completely took care of that and I now have an abdomen similar to when I was 20 and had never gain weight... with the scars from surgery.

I lost all my excess weight and got my BF down to the low teens, I still feel blubbery around the middle, but I'm pretty sure that's mostly excess skin.  I don't have a ton, but what I do have is all there... making it look and feel fatty... and it's the last place a lot of us lose as others have discussed.  I think it's a fairly common problem.

I so know how you feel! I am 5 weeks out and my pant still fit in my waist with a belt, but the pant legs look like parachutes. Then I have rings falling off me. My toes are wrinkled little tiny things now. Finger and toes, really??? I know people have noticed in my face, but I was hoping belly would go too. Just gonna keep up my gym routine and see what happens.

The belly was the last to go for me.  I even remember my husband at one point commenting on how it seemed that I was getting smaller everywhere but the belly.  And it is SO not like him to make comments about the size of any part of me!  It wasn't until I was in the last 20 pounds that I really saw the belly go.  Now that I am trying to stabilize (and still losing!) the only thing left yo shrink is the pitiful tiny boobs I have left.  They are truly sad.  Hang in there.  Your belly will get smaller.
