or way too committed to this...

So I am in Vegas for a week for work  just arrived .  decided after looking at room service just to eat one of the tuna packs i brought "just in case".  I also brought 10 pre measured protein powders too just in case i don't want to figure out the gotchas in all of these menus.  I could conceivably not buy an ounce of food here and still make my goals.

The fact that isnt bothering me is weird.

The thing about Vegas is the food LOOKS good at the buffets and what not..but it's usually not that great. Particularly the desserts.  I don't think you're missing much..good job on being prepared with your proteins!

good ideas... not lame at all... i guess i prefer steak or salmon to tuna, and those are always on the menu ;)  unfortunately while traveling a lot goes to waste...  at home i can usually get 3-4 meals out of a normie restaurant meal...

-tom (shift key stopped working on this flight) - currently at 35,000 feet over colorado...

If you are traveling, do they allow you to pack food like that, or is it better to plan on buying some tuna packs or whatever is 'on plan' once you are at your destination? I'm not traveling anywhere immediately, but I'd like to know how I should plan.

I tend to beg forgivenessrather than ask permission, so iI ddon't know the right answer. I just decided to bring along 10 ziplocks of protein powder, pb2, and a handful of those tuna and salmon foil packs that are 3-4 oz each. They keep well and I can sneak away to grab something quick. I also packed a cheapo sigg bottle and shaker bottle so I always have water and can make a good shake from any water fountain. On that beg forgiveness point though, my bag did get searched by TSA, but it makes sense. Lots of weird looking metal stuffnext to my cpap so iI'm used to it. No problems though.

Well, I was thinking the same thing - pack a couple retort packs of that samon and tuna, and some protein powder. Then I thought, OH YEAH. SURE. LET'S BRING LITTLE BAGGIES OF WHITE POWDER ONTO AN AIRPLANE. THAT DOESN'T LOOK SUSPICIOUS AT ALL. I mentioned that to my mom and we had a bit of a chuckle. I'd hate to get bumped off my flight for suspicious behavior!

Personally I would laugh my butt off at that.  I would beg them to test it!

Of course, i brought chocolate powder...

I want to know if you ever got to post your question/concern/comment that was so problematic?

Good job sticking to your plan!
