Smoked salmon and cream cheese :-)

I stopped by the grocery store on my way home from work and picked up some sliced smoked salmon. Saw it on sale and couldn't resist especially since I haven't had any since before surgery.

Got home and took the herb and garlic cream cheese out of the fridge and made very yummy salmon roles with a side of a 1/3 cup of steamed broccoli. Felt so indulgent and was deelish!!

For those who enjoy smoked salmon or in moderation if you're watching your sodium:

50g sliced smoked salmon: 110 cal 5g fat 16g protein.

1tbsp herb and garlic cream cheese: 30 cal 2.25g fat 1.5g carbs 1.5g protein

Spread cream cheese on slices and roll.

Enjoy!

You might try laughing cow cheese wedges in place of cream cheese.  Not 100% sure of the numbers but I think you'll come out ahead with this swap.  You gotta make a few sacrifices to move ahead LOL.

Yes..laughing cow wedges are yummy too.

For 1 light garlic and herb wedge : 35 cal  1.5g fat 1g carb 2g protein. Not huge differences. Laughing cow is a cream cheese..it does have some yummy flavours that do look very interesting to try and very convenient in not having to measure :-)
