Ok..thank you for posting this..first off, WOW, you are a beautiful woman!

Secondly, you have allayed my fears. I'm 16 weeks out and the hair is coming out so much it's clogging the shower drain. I guess I was thinking that the hair loss would actually result in some form of baldness. I can totally live with dandelion hair, though LOL

Thanks! I'm so glad I was able to help. This is why I posted it, to say, yeah, I was worried too, but it's not that bad and sort of funny now...

I know that some have more visible thinning because they started out thinner, but I never had that problem. Stylists usually remark about the quantity of hair I had, even though it was fine. My personal thread count is apparently pretty high.

Good luck!

You look great, your hair looks great, now go and tip-toe through the Dandelions, have fun.

Thanks! :) When I was heavy it was about the only feature about myself that I liked, sadly. I think a lot of women can identify with that, which is why the thought of hair loss is so scary.

Thank you for the post. This puts me at ease a bit. I have crazy, long,  curly hair that is usually always frizzy so hopefully anything that goes missing or starts coming back in will be camoflaged. I had a friend with bypass that didn't lose any hair,  so I'm still hanging onto hope!

Just take it one step at a time. Not all lose! Perhaps you'll be one of the lucky ones!
