I was wondering if anyone bought good protein drinks at Walmart or Kroger etc. Obviously looking for something low carb, cal and high protein. :) I am looking to do no brainer meal replacements. Thanks!!

I used to like the Body Fortress that Wal-Mart carries.  It's protein powder at a great price!  I used to love their chocolate & a serving of PB2.  Tastes like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup!  They also carry some other flavors I never tried like Cookies'n'Cream & Peanut Butter Chocolate.  Maybe they are worth trying.  Good luck!!!

Premier Protein ready-to-drink is my favorite.  Definitely at Walmart, Sam's, and Costco.  I got really tired of mixing the powders!

But if you do like chocolate powder type shakes, add some PB2 (powdered peanut butter) and a teaspon of instant espresso to boost the flavor - yum!

I do alot of isopure from GNC.  I think they tasted better, and with the gold card from them, I get it cheaper than wal mart if I shop it correctly.

I use Premier Protein, which I get at Costco, but I think is at Sam's Club and Walmart and other places.

160 calories, 30 g protein. I like it.

Does anyone know anything about New Whey liquid protein from Walmart?  It is high protein and low carb, and NOT chocolate or vanilla.  I have to do lactose free, so it has been more complicated.

The new whey has collagen, which isn't the right kind of protein.  It's good for hair and nails, not muscle.  If you buy any brand of whey isolate, it should be lactose free.  It's isolate because they filter it to isolate the protein and remove everything else--including lactose.  The concentrates are the ones with lactose.  Body fortress has a whey isolate at walmart that's 98% lactose free (the same brand also has concentrate, so check the label carefully).  Or, if you absolutely need 100% lactose free, Jay Robb makes egg white protein supplements.
