Prep work!
Today, I booked my flight to San Diego! Well, technically, my absolutely amazing father did that - and used the miles on his credit card to do it as well - which left me with no cost for the flight! This is probably the most exciting thing that's happened to me today . After work today I'm putting down the down payment and going to start collecting the items I'm going to need for pre-op, trip, and post-op! I started today on a pre-pre-op diet. Instead of just switching over to breakfast and lunch protein drinks and salad for dinner I had a normal breakfast, a protein shake for lunch, and no clue what to do for dinner yet. I figured it'll be easier to ease into the pre-op diet instead of starting it so suddenly, so I"ll do this for 2 weeks then start the full pre-op diet after that.
I am SO excited right now, seriously guys, I'm ready for this all to be over so I can start my journey, just trying to be patient now .
Super exciting! I'm feeling the same way - my surgery is right around yours. I'm also doing a pre-pre-op diet thing to help ease into the change and, hopefully, lose some extra weight too!
Yay for generous dads.
