... And they will pull most of my stomach out, throw It down on the streets of Tijuana, pour tequila on It and dance around it with sombreros on to a live mariachi band.

To the more conservative group, I will have VSG surgery.  Weee.

I'm a little excited.

Thanks for listening!

HAHAHA!!!!  Love your outlook!!  I had mine done Wednesday and I'm feeling pretty darn good.  I spent an extra night in the hospital since I wasn't able to get in enough fluids, but I did really good Thursday night and yesterday morning, and out I went.  I was majorly excited and didn't have any butterflies about the surgery at all!  My energy is pretty good, but I'm trying not to over do things.  One thing I will say is to stay on top of the nausea and any pain when you're in and out of the hospital.  They disconnected my pain pump and Thursday @ noon and by 3 I was having some bad pain.  But a big dose of Dialudid and an anti-nausea med and I was feeling MUCH better within 5 minutes of that.  So I made sure that the minute I was allowed to take my meds…they gave them to me.  I figure I'd rather do this for a few days out than try to help the pain AFTER I have it.  Good luck with your surgery!!

LOL......awesome attitude, stay positive. I was sleeved on 2/10 so it will be 2 weeks Monday. Feeling great now and headed back to work on Monday. I wanted to take my stomach home in a mason jar and put it on the mantle as an ugly reminder but my surgeon does not share my sense of humor.
