I am traveling for work today and as I hugged my kids goodbye, my 18 year old son gave me a bear hug that lifted me off the floor.

My baby carried ME. OMG.

What more can I say the WOOOO HOOOO! I think that is better than any 'scale' victory! I have an 18 year old too and I have been heavy his WHOLE life..... I can't wait till he can do that to me!!

They do surprise us now and then. My 27 year old son paid me the best compliment ever. I was dressing to go meet friends and listen to a local band and I put on some jean capris that were form fitting and a v-neck t shirt. He said I should change because I looked to hot and his mother doesn't dress like that.

All I could do was hug him and smile.

You survived what you thought would kill you. Now straighten your crown and go forward like the Queen you are!

It would be great to sit on my husband lap with putting his leg to sleep. I just can't wait for that to happen.
