Maintenance
Ok, maintenance it is!! I would be very happy at this weight for the rest of my life. I do find I am more hungry now so it's very nerve racking. I continue to weigh myself every morning to be held accountable. If it goes up a pound I cut back that day, if it goes down I may treat myself. Seems to be working. Here's to the rest of my healtyh life!!
I didn't set a goal for myself until I was i year post op. I was just letting my body take me to where it felt healthy. I lost weight every month for 15 months and then stopped. I waited 2 months and didn't lose anymore. I then declared I was at maintenance. I was also very happy at the weight I arrived at. I was happy at the 12 month mark, but my body kept losing. It sounds like you are there. Congratulations.
I am jealous! I had to fight for every pound the first year just to get to with in five pounds. Than the fighting ended with a 5 pound gain and than holding. I would love to think I could have kept losing for another few months. I am doing the work it took to lose to hold my own so figure this is my maintenance.
I wondered about that going into it. What I can say is "you'll. know". It wil probably be preceded by a week or so of mental pondering scale and clothing numbers.
I knew when I released that my neck size was now second from the smallest in dress shirts.
