4 weeks postop!

I can't believe it's already been 4 weeks since my surgery!  I'm down 25 pounds since that day and I was so excited today to try on some old clothes and find they fit!  I can wear my size 22 jeans. 

I went through a little bit of a panic this weekend that I had a hernia where my largest incision is (on the right). It had been feeling so much better and then I caught a nasty cold and all the sneezing and coughing made so sore and a little swollen. But I had it looked at yesterday and all is well. It's actually feeling better already today. The cold too. Whew!

I just wanted to share my excitement with you all. It's been a good 4 weeks.

Same thing just happened to me!  I was feeling great then thelargest incision area was tender and hurt when i moved.  I was worried at first,  but realized it must be from the sneezing and coughing. I've been having some wicked coughing spells. 

Congratulations on your success!  Tomorrow is my one month Mark :-)

i had the same thing happen to me im right behind ya im 3 weeks out and that cold kicked my butt that one spot felt like i was tearing something every time i sneezed  

I'm a week out and know that spot all too well!  :)  The area around it is kind of sunken in so it looks SO strange and is a little painful... so I know how you all feel!

How exciting!!  Congrats on a great month of weight loss!!  Keep up the good work!  Before you know it, you'll be swimming in those jeans!  :) 

Thank you, everyone, for sharing in the success as well as the pain.  I'm sorry that any of us has to feel the pain, but glad to hear I am not the only one who experienced that. 

Now, on to figuring out why my ticker is showing up twice.
