It makes no sense to me.

How you can lose pounds, but not inches. Or even more... inches, but not pounds.  It's illogical. ;-)

However, I do find it's good motivation. If the scale hasn't moved much for a few days, try measuring.

I have stopped tracking every day because it was making me crazy. I obsess over every gram of everything and that didn't seem healthy for my brain.  I'm tracking a day or two  (on MFP) every few days. Seems to be working for me.

About 4 1/2 weeks out. At my lowest weight since my 5 year old was born. Pretty happy

you can burn fat that is on the inside around your organs , that is more important health wise than the outside fat

you can lose inches and not pound as your body rearranges the fat you have

I weight at the most once a week but mostly every 2 weeks

but I weight and track all my food on mfp every single day with out exception , that is the secret of losing all your extra weight and keeping it off

Thanks!

I'm definitely still weighing and measuring everything. I just needed a break from mfp. - still logging in to check nutritional value for foods - but my brain was fried. ;-)

I also need to stop with the scale so often. It's all a learning process.

I hear ya, I have to step on that scale every morning. I also weight and log everything I eat. Went over the top a little with my breakfast. Helps me to see as the day goes by where I am.

I have a scale that measures body fat as well as weight, so I'm hopeful that even if my weight isn't moving, my body fat still will be!

Hahaha, I hear you on that!  I'm 10 days out and I feel like this WLS is all I talk about at home.  I must be driving my family crazy!

But, if you want to go for it, I've got the Withings scale and it rocks... but if you're a Fitbit person, I'd go with the Fitbit Aria.  I also linked my scale to trendweight.com which is AWESOME.
