NSV? Hmmm....
A very good friend of mine saw me today at work, and complimented me how skinny I was getting. Then he asked what I weighed now. Uh?
So I told him that asking a woman what she weighed was considered rude (he's from Ireland, so maybe a cultural difference?). He followed that up with "no, asking you what you weighed 6 months ago would have been rude, but now, look at you!
I took no offense - he's a good friend, but have been laughing about it ever since!
I think that asking anyone, regardless of gender, what they weigh is pretty rude! And I would be floored if one of my friends said, essentially, "oh, well I can ask you now since you're not fat anymore." That would seriously get a big F-U from me and a reconsideration of the friendship. :|

Some people just don't know how to pay a compliment!
I ran into a person I met once 2 years ago and he asked how much weight I've lost. I usually don't care when friends or family ask (or even someone that I friended on Facebook).... but when someone who you met once in your life asks, it was weird! I just said "alot" and that there is still room to go.
i'm pretty sure that if/when i ever get to 150 (or less??) i'll have a t-shirt printed with my weight on it so EVERYONE knows.
