Van I take liquid Nyquil ever again? This used to be my go-to for cold symptoms.

I have been super sick this week with the flu and I called my surgeons office to see what I wasn't allowed to take and they said as long as it doesn't contain aspirin or ibuprofen then I could take it.

I'd say this would have to be a question for your surgeon's office.  Of course, they all seem to have different rules, but it is not on my list of things I can take.  I'm allowed Rocephin DM and Tylenol, but not NyQuil.

I never had restrictions on any cold medication on my plan. Check with your Dr in case.  Just remember that Nyquil as any liquid medication still has calories. Nyquil has sugar in it..and about 90 calories per 2 TBSP. However..when you're sick you take what works to feel better. I'm like that with Neocitran..just have to count those 50 cal and carbs in my day.
