1 week out- woke with sour acid belly
I am 8 days out. I woke with sour acid belly and some reflux. Before fully awakening, I was already thinking of tums. Then I woke up and remembered the surgery, the omeprozole I am on daily, and that I did not eat something to cause reflux( like usual in the past). I did not take my zofran before bed as I have been feeling better. Should I stay on it every 8 hours? Any ideas? A call to the office when they open?
Zofran is for nausea, so I'm not sure why it would help with reflux. I definitely think you should call the office. It sounds like you might need a higher dosage PPI or a different PPI.
