Gas station lunch
Those seem like solid choices!
Every time I've been to Wawa during the last few months (my favorite local gas station chain) I've been looking through their convenience foods to see what will be post-op friendly in a pinch. It's sort of fun :)

Not too shabby at all. As I was filling my gas tank today, I'm looking at the sign on the pump with an Italian sausage with swiss cheese thinking "Well, if desperate, I could ditch the bun and eat about 1/4 of it with the cheese."

Drive through foods: refried beans and cheese, Wendy's chili, any taco or burrito (just toss tortilla/shell)
Grocery store goodies: Hormel white chicken chili (OMG it's good), sugar free jello, pepperoni sticks, any hard cheeses, cottage cheese, tuna, eggs, sugar free popsicles, deli sliced meat (better than the prepackaged stuff), shrimp (the flash frozen kind is best simply because you can use whatever number you need without having to thaw all of a pkg).
It's going to be a long time before you'll be able to eat a larger quantity than simply a scoop of beans and cheese that you'll be doing leftovers constantly. It is a fairly expensive up front cost to have things on hand that you want BUT you eat so very little it takes a long time use something up. That's my experience.
