I was considering having VSG over the winter holiday break but decided to put it off until I was done with my student teaching English at our local high school (I'm 44 and graduating with my Masters degree in May in Secondary Education.)  I've been so busy that the surgery just went out of my mind.  Then my doctor called this week to see if I still wanted to schedule for June.  And I do!  So, I'm officially pre-op now and excited/nervous!  I look forward to getting to know all of you over the coming months.  Best of luck to us all!

You are in for the ride of your life!  I am almost 3 weeks post op.  Keep your eye on the prize.  And congrats on getting your Masters!

Congratulations on your achievements!  I went back to school a few years ago to change careers.  I'm 45.  I loved it and it was so worth it.

Also congrats on being pre-op!
