FITNESS PAL 1430 CALORIES NO WAY!
So I am NOT losing and my NUT does not get it and Fitness Pal I thought I will try it everyone says it works I am now eating less than 1000 calories a day, 50 carbs, 80 protein and 4 bottles of water,I write down every bite, put in all my facts 9FITNESS pal) and it tells me to EAT 1430 calories a day??????? Are you kidding me, what the heck, how is this helping me??????? PLEASE advise!
You can change how many calories Fitness Pal wants you to get. Let me try to remember how.

It's all under settings, then diet profile. But IDK if there is a way to manually put in a goal that is lower than what MFP calculates based on the set variables you can enter (activity level, desired loss rate).

M1 -24 lbs M2 -11 M3 -14 M4 -6 lb(total loss: 55)
HW: 297 SW: 279 CW: 224
It's totally possible - I've got my calories set to 800, for example.

When I type in "egg" I see an option that is *Protein-Egg
I'd pick that one.

It does that for everyone....your calorie goal will never be accurate after having had bariatric surgery. I have mine set on sedentary and an aggressive loss, so it's as low as possible, and it's still over 1300. You will also always get a warning that you are eating too little and something about starvation mode. Ignore it.
Don't worry about that aspect of MFP--use it for the tracking.
