Sorry I am hogging all the postings here, but I always think of something different and you guys are so helpful!

With that being said, I have been eating Greek Yogurt and want to know if the "numbers" for the kind I have is good or if I should be getting something better.....It's Great Value Light (WM brand) and super good!!! It is a 4-5.3 oz cup, but I don't eat that much at a time....I usually do 1/2 at a time. The nutrition is as follows: Fat = 0, Carbs = 9G, Sugars = 8G, Protein = 12G.   If you think I should be getting something better, can you suggest some brands or the range that the numbers should be in?

Also, do you guys have any good recipes or suggestions for good smoothies (that I could add unflavored protein to) or what I could add to protein shakes to "spice" them up a bit? I am really craving fruity things, so some good smoothie ideas would be YUMMY!!!!! I am thinking for something I could sip on and it gives me the fruit fix and also counts toward my liquid goal.

Thank you guys - you are all the best!!!

Awhile ago someone posted a massive list of protein shake recipes. Let's see if I can figure out how to link it.

How many calories?  My general rule of thumb is that for every 1 gram of protein there should be no more than 10 calories.  So this yogurt would be fine for me if it had 120 calories for the 12 grams of protein present.

I eat Dannon Light & Fit Greek yogurt everyday, and its numbers are close to what you posted:

Protein:  12g

Carbs:  8g

Sugar:  6g

Calories 80

Love this stuff.  My favorite flavors are dark cherry, caramel macchiato, toasted coconut, blueberry, key lime.

Here's a link to Bariatric Food protein shakes recipes (I bought the book):
