Had surgery yesterday morning,  piece of cake! For those of you approaching surgery soon, if you're nervous about the procedure itself,  don't be! I had some pain/nausea/discomfort yesterday,  but nothing earth shattering. I started sipping water a few hours out w just some mild pain when the sip hit my stomach, but that has improved greatly already. I found today that I can tolerate broth and SF carnation instant breakfast better than plain water and I ahve no problem getting 6oz  of broth in per hour. Anyway I just wanted to share that I made it and maybe put some nervous minds at ease! You got this! Also thank you all for all the awesome support that got me and so many others through this ♡

Glad you're doing well! Start walking so that those gas bubbles will start moving! Remember that the heating pad is your new best friend!

WELCOME TO THE LOSERS BENCH

boy they started you off on instant breakfast soon

I didn't get to full liquids tillI went home 2 days after surgery

I hot towel works better than a heating pad , and walking is the only thing that gets rid of gas pains
