Pictures from last year and today

One year ago, my youngest son graduated from high school.  Although I didn't like to have my picture taken, I wanted to have a picture of the two of us together on this special occasion.  So today I asked him to help me do an "after" picture.  What a difference!  I'm over 100lbs lighter, more active, and my blood pressure is perfectly normal without medication.  I wear a medium/12 now (and I have collarbones) - the pink top in the "before" was a 24.  The necklace I have on in the "after" pic is one my older son and daughter-in-law gave me years ago, but I never wore it because it was too tight around my neck.  Not anymore!  I am so glad I did this!

What a difference a year makes !!!  You look fabulous!!!  Our stats are similar...no more BP meds for me either.  Life is good!!!!

Finally, not to make your thread all about me but you and I have very similar stats and surgery dates. It's so interesting to see such a dramatic and lovely transformation on you because sometimes I have trouble seeing it on myself, which I know is a psychological thing and not a reality-based thing.

Thanks!  The top was $1.50 at a thrift store, but the brand is Copper Key if that helps any.

i have trouble seeing my own changes too.  I can look in the mirror and see myself, but it doesn't connect that it's actually me.
