The Dreaded Turnstile - :)

There was a time in my not so distance past where walking (more like squeezing) through a turnstile literally brought on fear and a sense of dread. I knew that I could potentially get stuck (and had a few times in the past at my higher weights).

Tonight, I went to a store that has a turnstile in order to enter. It wasn't until I was several aisles deep inside the store that I realized I had walked right through without a problem. In fact, I didn't even make contact with anything other than the "arm". I am sure the customers around me thought I was some wacko as I stood in the middle of an aisle having an "emotional moment" realizing what had happened. Thank goodness, I had tissues on hand.

I continue to be amazed daily at this person I'm becoming. Not sure at times who this "transforming" person I see before me is, but I her and her "all in" determination to win the fight of no longer being obese.

Same here with me.

Congratulations! I bet you felt like a million bucks tonight, I felt almost the way when you did when I went through a turnstile at a train station and I couldn't believe it. I was 10 months out from my VSG surgery. This one of my many milestones and non-scale victories that I had on this journey. This milestone happened about 3 years ago. I'll be 4 years out from my VSG surgery next months.

Keep up the great job you're doing. I felt the same way, if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything. It's time to do a happy dance .

Way to go.

Watson,

Thank you!  As a former heavy weight, (I love the word former) it just blows my mind the difference in my life within such a short time.  Appreciate the encouragement.

I love "her" too and I admire to no end the determination, the strength and the courage that it took to get here.  You are spectacular and it's awesome that you weigh less too. :)
