6 month check-up
My 6 month surgiversary was May 20th but I had my 6 month appointment today. As some of you know, I've had a difficult recovery with complications (stomach spasms, swelling, nausea, vomiting, dehydration, infections, etc). I've had a PICC line for the last 3 months for IV fluids. But despite these difficulties, getting the VSG was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I've lost 115 lbs. I passed my surgeon's goal 2 months ago. Ten more pounds to my personal goal and then I'll reassess. I'm 5'6" and weigh 170 lbs. I'm wearing size medium capris today! I used to wear a 3x!
