5 Months and Two Weeks= 100lbs. lost

Today, I hit my 100 lb. loss mark!!! 62 lbs. lost before surgery and 100 lbs. lost after surgery for a total loss of 162 lbs! I'm making strides! Jesus, you reign supreme!!!! Without you, I couldn't do it!

Before surgery, I worked with a nutritionist who helped me to understand some basic principles about food composition and energy. Seeing the nutritionist every month helped me to be accountable. I also walked around the track at the YMCA and the local area high school. I eventually began walking around my apartment complex, which had alot of hills. After surgery, I tried to follow my surgeon's rules. I continued to walk often, and I always ate my protein first!!!! I still see a nutritionist. I also see a psychologist to deal with the emotional and psychological issues that are linked to overeating, and I go to bariatric support meetings.
