Had my sleeve on June 10th!! Feeling pretty good right now. Everything went smooth with sleeve but had to repair a hienal sp. hernia and was in there a little longer. Also this is my first surgery and doc said I had a little rough time coming out of anesthesia -oxygen level kept going down but by the Grace of God I did it!!! Thank you for all the prayers !! I am so excited about this new journey!!!

AWESOME, you!! I can't wait -- I'm on the 23rd! Hey - so now that you're 2 days out how do you feel? Are you hungry at all? I am SO hungry on Day 4 pre-op, protein-only liquid diet. Grrrrr. Please tell me that this gets better and that after surgery the cravings are gone at least for a while?!

PS. How long until you can drive? Others please chime in if you've had the sleeve -- how long before you drove a car? Honest answers please, not doctor's orders...

THANKS!

I waited until my 1 week checkup to drive. Doctors orders were as long as I wasnt on pain meds I could drive. I didnt feel comfortable with that knowing my experience of driving too fast after c-sections. Even though Laproscopic, you dont realize that all of your muscles are still sore and can cause more pain.
