Weighed in this weekend, first time in nearly 18 years that I've weighed less than 300lbs. 299.2, my goal is 240. 70lbs in just over three months, with the help of this great tool my hard work is finally showing results. So glad I decided to have this surgery.

Nice Job I am following your story as we used to be about the same size.  I say used to be as you are shrinking.  You are an inspiration and I hope to soon follow in your foot steps.

Thank you everybody, I hope I can motivate and insire people half as much as I was motivated by following others on this site. My first month after surgery I would wake up and read posts to help to motivate myself to make the best choices throughout the day.  So far so good, this tool is working wonders for me.

Congrats!  I can really relate. You said it well..great tool + hard work.  I think the ability to eat only 400 calories of mush and not be hungry is an unbelievable tool…though the mush part is getting old--- at least moving to Pureed sage brings in chili, hummous, refried beans, tuna, egg salad, etc., which is -so- much better than the damn sweet protein shakes, even if I can only eat a tablespoon or so.   Great tool though-- and the gas or food settling almost demands I walk it off and get my steps in.

I am also heading down from about the same weight toward magic 300 for the first time in a decade or two.  I'm 2 weeks post op and still a bit north of there around 314, but it's in sight.    Hope to hit 300 by mid-July.  I think I've been over 200 since junior high (about 40+ years).
