I had my sleeve a week ago today and since have lost 16 lbs in a week Feeling great and doing good on my liquid diet. Amazing but no hunger and no acid reflux. While they were doing my sleeve discovered I had a hiental hernia which was so large my doc said it had everything pushed to the side so Thank God that I had the surgery. My question is did ya,ll  feel exhausted or no energy!! How long does this last??

I'm almost 7 weeks out, and I still get exhausted easily! Expect to need naps and to take it easy on yourself for the next while. Congrats on making it through your first week!

My post op energy level is like a puppy dog. I am full of optimism, have a little boost from the weight loss, any movement/exercise makes the next time easier, but like a puppy I'll just run out of energy and collapse (nap). I napped 4-5 times a day my first week home. Down one nap a day give or take how much activity I get.

Totally normal, you are eating so few calories it will take your body time to adjust. I went back to work after 2 weeks and was pretty exhausted my first few days back, but it got better. Hang in there, you are doing great!

It is very normal to be have no energy.  Make sure you are getting all your vitamins in.  Depending on what you liquid diet contains that could be very important.  If you had a HH and it was large, that would be the cause of you acid reflux pre surgery.  Take it easy, get in your fluid and protein.  Walk, walk, walk and sip sip sip.

Congratulations on your surgery and your weight loss.  Great job!

Yes, I did feel very tired for many weeks after surgery.  I think the body just needs the time to rest and rebuild.  I can't say how long it lasted because it was a very gradual change, but somewhere along the way, perhaps 4 or 6 months out, I realized I had more energy than ever!  Just take your time.  You'll get there.
