Good Morning!

It has been 1 week since I was sleeved.  I have to say, the first few days were hard but as of today I Feel Wonderful.  I have so much energy, and love the results I am seeing and feeling.  I am on full liquids and am tolerating everything that I am drinking. My taste has changed a little and I am sure there will be many other changes coming my way, but I look forward to them.  Just wanted to post some positive feedback.  Any advise or comments are welcomed.

Congrats then!

My advice would be start walking every day.  Go as far as you can go each time, then do 5% more.  Do that to get you started.  Once you work out all the body aches, move on to other exercises that give you a real cardio workout.  Once you've had some time to acclimate, start on the weights.

As far as food goes, don't start eating anything you don't need.  Once you add it back it's much harder to quit.  So it's better to have a simple routine that accomphlishes the task and avoid the unnecessary stuff.  The truth is you can safely eat lots of bad stuff if you choose, but you shouldn't if you're committed to the process.  Simple things like candy or ice cream, even in small amounts, can get to be habits again so it's best to just avoid them.

Do all that and you'll be rockin'

Thank you for the advise.  I am committed and want to do well.  I have started walking and am in the process of getting a stationary bike.  I only have about 50 lbs to lose so I am excited.

Only 50 ? Good luck with that ;) I bet you lose much much more. I had my sleeve done 12 days ago and I've already lost 23 pounds. Granted I'm a 6'6" male with a 43 BMI but that wasn't tooo bad starting out.

Doctor said 60 and I have already lost 10 so 50 would put me at 133.   I am 5'3 so we will see what happens. I don't want to look sickly.

Hi SD!  I'm also 1 week post-op & have lost 10 pounds!  Only a bit sore & concentration is better.  Got out of the house for a coffee chat for a couple of hours yesterday & plan on doing errands & walking today.  I'm glad I did this!,
