I made fresh lemonade with my kids and I am drinking away and it dawned on me that there is massive pulp in it.. I am a little over 2 weeks out of surgery and still on liquids... =/ Think it is ok? I was told by doc. if it fits through a straw its ok.. But he didnt say anything about pulp..Hmm

I wouldn't do it.  It can get caught in the staple line.  The acid from the lemonade may not be so good either, so if you are uncomfortable that could be the culprit.  Finally, empty calories- avoid drinking them.

I wouldn't.  Plus lemonade tends to have sugar in it and I'm supposed to avoid all liquid calories unless they're protein shakes.

the pulp should not be a problem , my plan allowed all foods (start with soft stuff) after 2 weeks

talk to your surgeon about the pulp to be safe

the sugar is the main problem unless you made it sugar free , and the acid is not the best thing but one time will not hurt you

Look at it this way: you'll lose a lot of weight in those 4 weeks on liquids only so long as you avoid sugar! Hang in there :)
