Am I the only one???
Had my sleeve done June 10th and everything seems to be doing great except for one thing--I am so exhausted and weak. I see others saying they have so much energy and I can hardly walk across the room. Mention this to doc during my 1week check up and he said it was due to food withdrawals which is a good thing-showing I am staying with plan. Suppose to have 60 g of protein-mine has been running around 55g and close to 600 cals a day. Getting anywhere from 55 to 60 oz of water a day, Since my surgery I have lost around 28 lbs. Just wondering if it is normal to feel so tired and weak??
Sounds like your numbers are good. So it's probably the anesthesia. People react to it differently, but it's not uncommon to take several weeks for its effects to wear off completely. Plus, your body is healing, and will be for a while. It's putting its energy into that, haha. Take it easy and let your energy return on its own time.
BTW, 28 lbs, woohoo!
Your body needs protein and water to heal. Try getting your protein between 60-80 and your water to a bare minimum of 64 oz, preferably more like 96.
