Question about vitamins

I know.... I need to ask my Dr and I will but since he has not had surgery and you all have, I want your opinion as well.  I am 6 months post surgery. Feel GREAT!!! Have never had any complications whatsoever. Never experienced foamies or anything other than a little discomfort if I lie down after eating. (which happened prior to WLS as well) My question is.... do we always need to do chewable vitamins or is it OK to switch to traditional pill/swallow types? I do not have any issues with swallowing pills as my thyroid medication is not chewable and for a brief day or two I was taking a non chewable calcium and did fine.

So any thoughts?

The ASMBS says that we can swallow pills as soon as we get home from the hospital.  My surgeon said I should do chewables for the first 3 months.  I used chewables for the bigger stuff, and swallowed pills for the smaller stuff, and I haven't had any issues.

Just make sure to get a multi with 100% of most of the vitamins and minerals.  It can be hard to find something that is truly complete, regardless of what the label says, but it's important.

I still use chewable calcium citrate, because it's super tasty, and my sublingual B12 since I haven't finished off my initial bottle yet.

I was given clearance to return to swallow able but stuck with chewables because they just seem to go down better. I know, it's all in my head...
