whoa! Dr. Aceves!

Ok, so I am a little late with this post, but I just read today in the OH newsletter that Dr. Aceves died in a plane crash!?   He performed my surgery in 2010.  I'm just...gobsmacked.

I am late to this too.  When I read about him passing it brought tears to my eyes.  He was such a gentleman and gentle man.  I was never treated so well in a hospital than I was when he performed my surgery.  I always felt special to him because I think I was his oldest sleeve patient.  He gave me my life back.

My heart goes out to his staff and his family.
