10 1/2 months and over 150 pounds gone! - Pics on profile could not upload
I can not belive how much my life has changed, all for the better! I am doing so many things that I have not done in forever. Last weekend I walked my second 5K, went bowling and climbed a ladder. This may not seem like much to some, but when you spent years hiding out and not participating in activities because you were to heavy little things like this seems surreal. One of the big things for me is having my confidence back. I am a happier person and it shows. And lets not forget the tons of energy!!! I feel awesome, so good in fact that I have enrolled to back to college and finish my degree. Who would have thought that at 46 years old I would be crazy enought to go back to school! I have a daugther in college and we joke about which one of us will graduate first, LOL! Of course she will beat me, but only because I can not take very many hours and work full time. I have posted some before and after photos. I will try to upload but you will probably have to go to my profile to view.
If you are considering WLS I want to tell you it is the best thing I could ever have done for myself and my family. I am off all of meds (diabetic, high cholosterol and high blood pressure) and able to enjoy life with my family. What are you waiting for?!?!?!
Congratulations on your great success! I totally get it about climbing ladders. They were my biggest fear. Now I'm all over the suckers and have no fear.
